Rabbi Cheryl loves serving as the Campus Rabbi at Nova Southeastern University! Rabbi Cheryl graduated from William Smith College and received a master’s degree from Yale University before she was ordained as a rabbi by the Jewish Theological Seminary. She recently received a Master of Forensic Psychology degree here at NSU. She has worked in all aspects of Jewish life and is the Director of ISH, a welcoming, non-denominational spiritual service grounded in Jewish wisdom as well as the Director of Outreach at Ramat Shalom Synagogue. She is a chaplain for the Davie Police Department, as well as the Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire Departments. Rabbi Cheryl also loves to read, work out and spend time with her family, including husband Rabbi Andrew, children Abigail and Jonah, and her two Portuguese Water Dogs, Ella and Caroline.
