Each year, Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach holds a gala event, We Are Hillel. In addition, Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach sponsors several parlor meetings in North Palm Beach County. These events raise funds from a wide array of community philanthropists and from corporate sponsors who support the event by placing ads in our tribute journals and/or making personal donations. Both of these events attract hundreds of attendees from the philanthropic, business and university communities in South Florida. Annually, honorees are chosen whose involvement in or personal support for Hillel, has helped transform the lives of the Jewish students on our South Florida campuses.
