Hannah Schorr, Springboard Innovation Fellow

Hannah is thrilled to join Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach as the Innovation Springboard Fellow! From Hollywood, Florida, Hannah grew up immersed in Jewish culture and was active in her local JCC’s Cultural Arts Theatre. This nurturing environment allowed her to explore her Jewish and artistic identities. She attended the University of Central Florida, earning a BFA in Acting while serving as VP of Student Engagement and co-founding the LGBTQ+ Jewish student group, Everything Bagels, at Central Florida Hillel.

Hannah’s passion for arts education led her to teach theatre to youth, including underprivileged and hospitalized children, and work as a Drama Specialist and Hebrew Tutor at Orlando’s Congregation of Reform Judaism. She is dedicated to providing future generations with the same opportunities she has had. In her free time, Hannah enjoys creative writing, figure skating, and playing with her beagle, Elvis.
